Hi all,

we need more playtesting for our almost finished Necromancer set, we also added flipable necromancer missions (as a set on the end) so update Core and Metw folders

Any chance for a Necromancer testing event at Lure? Maybe you could publish a list of themes / missions / cards or group of cards that you would like to see tested in this event (or on gccg). We can then build decks and print proxies for Stahleck.

Yes that would be worth considering, a DCGO including First Folk and Necromancer.
It will bring us back into proxy territory, and hopefully won't scare people away, but it could be an excellent opportunity to test more.
It would have been awesome to finish Necromancer before Lure, but let's not be impatient, quality should be paramount.

a small instruction. In gccg backsides cannot (for the moment) be altered. So, just include the A-side in the deck (in Pool, actually), and when you flip the card, bring the B-side into play from collection.

As a helper, these are the cards with A and B sides:
Spies into Mordor (A) - Watch into Mordor (B)
Foundations Remain (A) - Dark Spires Rising (B)
Upon the Deep Waters (A) - Sceptre of the Sea-kings (B)
Strange as News in Bree (A) - There's Queer Folk About (B)
Contested Powers of Mordor (A) - Wholesome Forest (B hero) / Land of the Necromancer (B minion)
Dragon Marked in Red (A) - Gold beyond Price and Count (B hero) / Use with Terrible Effect (B minion)

If anybody is interested in building Sample Decks for the Necromancer Player Guide, let me know. There's room for quite a few decks, up to 10 or so.

Dwar and A Few Trusty Lads decks are taken by Nicolai and Heiko.
there's still: The Necromancer, The Witch-king, Khamûl, Adûnaphel, Ûvatha, a hero deck (wizard of your choice), and ok why not The Balrog.

decks should be quite simple, 80 cards (including characters), with a little challenge, need not be tournament-winning.

so this is your chance to get an honorable mentioning in the MENE Player Guide!
otherwise, just show up at the DCGO and get listed as DC play-tester 8)

Aargh! Fangorn was too fast for me. I was about to offer a Necromancer deck based on Contested powers. I'd have to think if it could work with another avatar (both gamewise and thematically)

Nasty trees. We hates it! Gollum! Except when it has a little nest with nice birdsies in it. Nice little birdsies. Taste good.

Ok, if I cannot use the Necromancer, I might be able to make the deck work using Khamul. That is a nice thematic alternative. Thorsten, would that work for you?

though does Gaurhir really require The Necromancer's presence? he's a skillfull sorcerer, perhaps he can do with the aid of Dwar ;-)

or perhaps Adûnaphel can be the Overlord of Dol Guldur this time, Contesting the Powers in Mirkwood the minions can use some cancelling powers.

Hello,
I have two questions about the Necromancer set :

1) May be we need a clarification about the Warlord concept. A Warlord can use «Warlord» cards, but is there anything else ?

2) «Lesser Brood» card. This passage is very unclear :
If you have a unique Spider faction or ally in play, this faction may move using region and Under-deeps movement….

What does it means ? The faction moves with its influencing character ? For what purpose ?

If an avatar (or leader) gains the Warlord status via a resource, your avatar is a Warlord, but you're still a black player.

If your avatar is an innate Warlord (so far only Ardagor), he is a grey player, and some special grey player rules apply to him (see grey player rules). This does not concern the ME:NE set.

The faction movement refers to rules from ME: The Red Nightfall, see metw/doc/mern
the Spider factions (and those rules) are done by Bandobras
