The sequel to the popular 1980s TRON hits stores today.  I didn't even get a chance to see Tron: Legacy, but I hear the effects were amazing.  You can score the single dvd at Amazon for $15.99 new, and just imagine where the prices go from there.  If Disney does one thing correctly, it's marketing their products.  Also available are two-disc sets, blu rays, and combination TRON/Tron: Legacy sets.  Apparently Disney has a whole barrel of monkeys they're trying to feed.  Let us know if you got a chance to see El Duderino in action and tell us what you thought.  Is this an automatic purchase, or should I just Netflix it?

  • TIMMAH  - Auto-purchase... well, delayed for now.

I'm going to jump on this one as soon as it's reasonable to do so. The wacky 5-disc set is what I'm shooting for, since it comes with both films and tons of extras... nonetheless, just because we're fans doesn't make us saps. I'll try to wait on a better deal.

I'd wait for some used copies. Amazon has that thing going now where you can buy something from a 3rd party seller, but still qualify for Super Saver Shipping. I've scored a pile of DVDs there for $3 or less because they were in Good to Like New condition. When you take on the free shipping, it's pretty hard to say, "no."
