The Solera at 900 Hennepin Ave in the Twin Cities is a tapas restaurant that has a an interesting roof option.  During the summers they project films onto a brick wall for their patrons to watch while enjoying drink specials from the rooftop minibar.  This means you could have a chance to watch  The Big Lebowski while enjoying a caucasian and maybe throwing a few quotes out at the appropriate moments. twin-cities%E2%80%99-best-patio-dining

Looks like some of X-Box's potentially is about to get utilized.  Con Trek is a new magazine-style web show that recently premiered.  While they're focusing on a wide variety of topics (last week had interviews with people involved in Star Trek, Heroes, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and 30 Days of Night), they're also hoping to cover other types of news that isn't usually covered in main stream media.

“We’re very focused on covering the kind of news that you wouldn’t necessarily find from big media,” said Con Geek Producer Stephen Lackey of film/television production company Captain Pixel Productions. Coverage will include traditional conventions like Hero Con, but also go off the usual path to Anime Conventions and even Lebowski Fest (a celebration of the movie The Big Lebowski) in Louisville, Kentucky.

I'm really hoping they'll be covering one of the many Lebowski Fests happening this summer.
