Burn After vs Ladykillers E-mail

We received an email from Todd yesterday that brought up an interesting insight...

I was wondering why you don't make any connection between "Burn" and "Ladykillers"?  It seems to me that the two movies are incredibly similar.  They are both shot really dark - and seem to be driven by a "Confederacy of Dunces".  A grand scheme goes very awry and everyone winds up dead while the unaware who are left behind scratch their head and sorta throw up their hands and say "crazy world idn't it?  I'd buy a ticket."  That quote from Raising Arizona sorta sums up what I think is the Coen approach to storyline.  Bizarre tales, bizarre characters, and building of almost storm-like collision of all these lives.  Then comes the calm.

I had to sheepishly admit to Todd that I've only seen The Ladykillers once and that was the week it opened at my local theater.  I wasn't super impressed by it at first viewing (I was still in my toddler years of Coen appreciation) and haven't gotten around to watching it again.  It's also one of the few Coen films, along with Intolerable Cruelty, that does not adorn my DVD shelves.  This makes me want to go back and watch Ladykillers again to see some similarities.

We also received another email from my college buddy Browning who found a Lebowski Quiz.  We both took it at the same time and were a little disappointed that we both easily scored 12 out of 12.  Let us know what you think of it.  I guess we were hoping for some more challenging questions.
